With Deepest Sympathy...+ Freebie

It's you know what that means! Time for a Lindsay project! She has two new sets available! I decided to use this beautiful cross from the Many Blessings set. I used the sketch from 2S4Y this week. I colored the stamp using my copics. I love the purple! I've never used my purple copics much, but I will now.  I cut the card base with my cricut using an old svg from Mamaw's Legacy.

The purple dew drops I made myself using a hot glue gun and alcohol ink. Lindsay has a tutorial here.
This card qualifies for the challenges at Easy Craft Projects (Purple), One Stitch at a Time (Anything Goes), Stamp Something (Fall Colors, Stamptacular Sunday (Fall colors) and Tuesday Throwdown (punches)

Don't forget to check out Lindsay's blog for a freebie and the DT's work!
Now for a freebie! Sorry I haven't had any in a while.

Color Me Happy Bracelets

I had time to make a couple of bracelets this morning while Brett was napping. Just thought I'd share them with you! I love these magnetic clasps!!

Grab Your Party Hat!

I created this card for my cousin who is serving in Afghanistan. His birthday is next month and our family is getting together a care package to send him. So I picked up some candy and made this card to put in the box.

Baby Shower Thank You Cards

Hello again! I don't have much time, so I'll make this quick. Brett is starting to wake up and he's gonna be hungry again. haha. I've been working on making and addressing thank you cards. I made 20 of these really quickly. They were very easy. The paper is "dreamy" from My Mind's Eye. It reminds me of a baby crib or mobile. The footprints were cut using scal and my cricut. You can find the free file here.

Meet Baby Brett + Lindsay Project

If you've been wondering where I've been, I am finally back! Not sure how often I'll be posting though since there is a new little boy in my life and he already has me wrapped around his tiny little finger!

So in honor my first post after having my new boy, which I'll introduce to you in a moment, I made these baby shower favors. They would also be great to give out after the baby is born instead of the old fashioned bubble gum cigars. I bought these plastic shot test tubes at They are 5" tall and perfect to fill with all kinds of yummy candy. I chose to fill this one with some grape flavored Nerds (since this is all I had on hand). However the tiny nerd box was just the right amount to fill the tube! I used Lindsay's test tube holder template. I cut it using the SCAL software and my cricut. However if you do not have a cricut, Lindsay also has the printable template available! And they are only $3.00! would have put some ribbon somewhere on this project, but i left all my ribbon at my mom's while working on the hooded towels...oops.

Now I introduce to you:

Brett Maverick Bennett
Born Sept 3rd, 2010
Weighed 8lbs, 3oz.
