A Creepy Hallowen Card + Freebie!

Only 80 days left til Halloween! Haha. I love Halloween. I think it is quite possibly the most fun holiday of them all. I couldn't wait for Halloween to come back around this year because I was dying to get back to making Halloween cards! I absolutely love the Creepy Crow Set from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff.

The drippy goo border is a former svg freebie, you can find it here.

I used this week's sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches. This card qualifies for Our Daily Bread Designs: "3 of Something" and OWH: "Fall Cards".

I was especially excited since I got my copic markers! I could have done so many different things with this stamp, like a orange sunset or a cloudy sky, but instead I decided to go for the creepy night sky look. I googled a pic of a spooky graveyard and used that as my inspiration.

Now for your freebie! Another chic lookin' lady! If you missed the others, look through my former posts.
And don't forget to stop by Lindsay's blog to grab a freebie and check out the DT gal's work!

Free to be Me Card + Freebie

Hey folks! Thanks for stoppin' by! It's Thursday, so time for a LSS project! This week I was more excited than ever to design for Lindsay. You know why? Because I got copics!!! I mentioned this a couple of days ago for those of you who are just stopping by. I got about 80 of them for about $2 each on Ebay. Great deal! I've been wanting some for a long time now. I had so much fun this week playing with them.

This stamp is from the Girl Thing Collection. I just love this care free bird. She's so graceful! The sentiment is a freebie from Create with TLC. I used the sketch at Tuesday morning sketches. I chose sketch #26. The challenge was also to show what reminds us of summer. birds chirping remind me of summer. This card also qualifies for the Copic Creations challenge - Birds!

Be sure to stopy by Tuesday Morning Sketches and participate this week, they are sponsored by Lindsay's Stamp Stuff! The winner will get their choice of one stamp set!

Don't forget to stop by Lindsay's for a freebie and to check out the DT's work!

A Couple of Alligator Cards

Hello everyone! I wanted to share a couple of cards with you that I made this morning. They are for a customer of mine whose wife loves alligators. He requested a birthday and an anniversary card. So this is what I came up with. The first card I made using a sketch from Friday sketchers. The cute little Happy Birthday is a freebie digi sentiment from Create with TLC. The alligator svg is a freebie from a prior post on my blog.

This card was made using a sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Friendship Card + Apple & Worm SVG Freebie

Guess what folks? Lindsay has a new set out!! It's called "On the Line". I just love it. It has endless possibilities. There are 19 stamps total for just $6.00!

When I saw this cute little set of bra and panties, I knew exactly what I wanted to do, I just had to get the sentiment worded just right. I printed the panties and bra on patterned paper and painstakingly cut them out with and exacto knife and scissors. But the results were worth it! I used this week's sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Also, big news! Lindsay is having a big School's Out Sale! 40% off! So be sure to stop by her shop!

A Graduation Card

I saw Lindsay's freebie this week and couldn't wait to make a graduation card. I'm not sure I know of anyone to give it to, but they are always nice to have on hand. Hop over to Lindsay's blog to snag the free paper! The cute little diploma came from the School Rules set.
I used this week's sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches for my inspiration.

I used a new Tim Holtz distressing ink pad that I got at HL this weekend. It is called faded jeans, and I love it! I also used my antique paper distress pad and a Q-tip to color in the diploma. I wanted it to be very subtle. As far as the background paper goes, I played around in Paint.net and combined two of the freebie patterns that Lindsay is giving away this week and made one that I thought would fit my card just right. That is the great thing about printing your own PP, you can play with the colors and everything to make it 100% custom to your project. I need to do that more often!

Twilight Tuesday Challenge-- Edward

This week on the Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge, we finally got to use Edward for our inspiration! He is my REASON for reading the books. He is so gorgeous, strong, selfless and kind. I am in love! I think the word that comes to mind when I think of Edward is "Comfort". I know this may seem odd, but I know exactly how Bella must feel when she is with him. Comforted. He is a strong presence in her life and completes her in everyway. With the exception of New Moon, Edward is always there for Bella. I put "Perfectly Flawed" on the card because that is the way that I would describe him. He's got many characteristics that people would consider flaws, but without him he wouldn't be so perfect.

I chose this image for the card because Edward is sitting in front of his piano. One of my favorite scenes in the movie is when he plays the piano for Bella. It is so sexy. Something about a guy like that who can play the piano so beautifully and compose music so moving is very attractive! I also used the sketch from this week's Tuesday Morning Sketches.
