Birthday card for a State Trooper!

I'm not sure if I mentioned it yet on my blog, but in case you didn't know it, my husband is a state trooper. So when it came time to make him a bday card, I couldn't resist a little joke about cops and donuts. LOL. I found this picture of a cop pulling over a Dunkin Donuts truck. The inside says: "Get 2 dozen this time!"

I created the cute little donut svg file also, which I was planning to share with you all, but mediafire is having issues. So I'll share it in a few days when it decides to cooperate!

Bath Time Layout

I am  loving scrapping these pics of my precious little boy! It's so fun to do baby pages again! I found this cute little svg of a bird in a bird bath that I had saved long ago. It was a freebie from Treasure Box Designs a while back. I thought it was perfect and unconventional for this type page!

This page qualifies for the challenge at ScrapRoom which was to use the following items on a layout...4 different patterned papers, buttons, ribbon, handmade embellishment, and stitching! I finally got brave enough to use my sewing machine on a scrapbook page and I stitched the big circle down. In hindsight I should have used thicker thread. Oh well.
I also used the sketch this week from Sketch Inspiration.

Big Brother Layout + Freebies

Howdy folks! Welcome back! I got another scrapbook page done today! I think I'm going to do his whole first year album with kraft paper as the background. I just love the way it makes any color pop off the page and it's so versatile! I created this fun little title "Big Brother" for the page. I also created one that says "Lil Brother" if anyone would like them, they are for sale in my etsy store for just $2.00 for the pair. I used this week's sketch from Sketch Inspiration.
I cut the cute little gears out of some patterned paper that i had. I love them! So cool for a boy's page. Nice alternative to flowers.

Apple Card SVG - I also had this one made so it can open as a card.

Hope you enjoy these! As always I'd love to see what you make with them. Feel free to leave a comment! I love hearing from all of you!

A Wedding Card

A friend of mine is getting married in a few days and I made this card for her. I am not totally pleased with the way it turned out, but some cards are just that way. I used the svg files from SVGCuts called Kate's Silhouettes.

I used this sketch from Cute Card Thursday.
