Girlie Birthday Card

Don't you just love it when you're getting ready to go to a birthday party, the gift is wrapped at the last minute and you realize you have no card?
Well that's what happened yesterday. I had about 20 minutes to spare before I had to leave and I just put the finishing touches on the tissue paper in the gift bag (in otherwords, stuffed it in). LOL. I realized I needed a card. I ran to my craft room, which was a WRECK. I really need to clean it up.
I dug through a drawer of junk that I sometimes throw stamped images into that haven't been colored yet. I found this little girlie. She was perfect for a 6 year old's bday!
I colored her with my copics really quickly (I haven't used copics in months). I'm surprised I remembered how. I added some distressing inks to the edges and it made her *Pop*!

Quick, easy & simple.
This card qualifies for the challenges at Creatalicious, Cute Card Thursday.

Anniversary Cards!

Ok so I went a bit overboard for this challenge, but I had a lot of fun! Here is the sketch for this week's Dare U 2 Digi Stamp challenge.
They were all made using My Mind's Eye Card bases.

This one has Anya & Ian from the Greeting Farm. The inside says "after all these years. Happy Anniversary!"

This is a digi from Dusin Pike. The inside says: "Thank you for 'bear'ing with me all these years! Happy Anniversary".

This is another Anya & Ian stamp from the Greeting Farm. The inside says: "for many years more. Happy Anniversary".

Making Faux Chipboard

Hi again...and again...and again. I have never made so many posts in one day before! Wow. This one is for TPS's Faux chipboard challenge. She has a video on her blog showing how to make it. It is really simple! Essentially, you just cut out the same shape 4 or 5 times and glue them all on top of one another.

The beautiful stamp is Anya Angel from The Greeting Farm. The font is called A Yummy Apology. To get the A printed out on my cricut like this, I used SCAL and cut it as a shadow A instead of the regular A.
