I Made Digi Stamps!

Hello everyone! I was bored tonight and got to playing around on my computer. I realized that I can make digi stamps using the svg files that I've made. So here are a few that I tried out. Just right-click to save the file.

Let me know if you like these, if so I'll make more. If you'd like to see any particular svg file that I've done in the past turned into a digi, just leave a comment with your request and I'll get it done as soon as I can. Not sure if I'll continue doing these or not, guess I'll just have to see how everyone responds. (Also, if anyone acutally uses these as a digi, I'd love to see your work! Just email me at tamara_bennett7@hotmail.com

Frog Prince Chapstick Holder

Hello everyone!
It's Thursday, so time for a LSS project! This week I decided to try something different. I saw this fabulous tutorial for how to make a chapstick holder card and made my own! I didn't follow the directions exactly though. I did make mine larger than she made hers. I used this cute frog prince digi from the Pretty Princess Set.

I thought this would be really cute with Lip Smacker's lip balm, but I didn't have any on hand. I plan to purchase a bunch of the Avon chapsticks for the holidays and make several of these for my craft booth. They would make great stocking stuffers!

A Card and an altered Jewelry Box

Here are a few things I got done today...

This card was created using the tulip pot svg file that is the post before this one.

I created this jewelry box for my cousin's little girl. She's transitioning into the pre-teen world, so she wanted something with flowers, peace signs and lots of bright colors. So this is what I came up with.

I got the box at Hobby Lobby for just $6.00. It was 40% off all unfinished wood products! I used modge podge to attach the designs and then coated everything with glossy modge podge.

Hooded Bath Towels w/Cricut Appliques

Hello and Happy Monday everyone! I'm not feeling so well today, so needless to say it's 10am and the only thing I've gotten accomplished is a shower and a bowl of cereal. haha. So I thought I'd at least post these hooded bath towels that my mom and I made last week. She was creating these for my cousin who just had a baby and she used a regular size bath towel and a hand towel sewed together, but she wanted to add a cute applique to the hood. So I told her instead of going to a craft store or a sewing store and spending a bunch on appliques, we could make our own! So we cut these cuties using the Cricut! Then she used a tight zig-zag stitch to make sure that they didn't go anywhere after washing several times. We still used the Wonder Under and ironed them on, but the stitching gave them a more finished/professional look. I attached the googly eyes with Fabri-Tac. If you don't already have these svg files, look below for the links.

3 Baby Bumps Layout

Here is a quick page that I threw together. It is a pic of me and my best friend and my cousin, all three of us have been preggers this summer! My cousin (in white) had her baby at the end of May. My friend (in middle) is due any day now and that is me on the left. I am MUCH bigger than that now. haha. I need to take a picture and post for you guys. I feel huge. I still have a little less than 7 weeks left.

Anyways, I used this sketch from Sketch Inspiration.

A Get Well Card + freebie

I just thought I'd pop in today to share this card that I made for a custom on facebook. She requested a get well card with purple roses. I found this rose bouquet through coloring pages on google. I used my copics to color it then I added some purple flocking to some of the rose petals. Although, I'm not completely satisfied with the results. At first glance, it appears like I didn't get my copics blended well enough. The flocking isn't very obvious. The little roses I cut using my cricut and twisted them around to make little roses. There is a tutorial and a free svg file here.

I also made this little cutie for you. I think he'd look really cute with googly eyes, so if you'd like to use them, don't cut all of the layers, just two of them. There are 4 layers in all so that you don't have to paste all those little circles for the eyes.  Alien SVG

4 Cards Done Today!

Hello again! I finally finished making some more cards! Can you believe I got these done in under 2 hours? All 4 of them?! Well technically I sat and colored the images yesterday while watching tv. Then I saved them for later and today I made cards! These will be going in my craft booth for sale. I sold quite a bit of cards over the weekend and I need to replenish my stash! All of them were colored with Copics. Also, another great thing about all of these cards? I used SCRAPS! Any paper you see (with the exception of the card base) is made using scraps! That also just so happens to be the challenge this week at Digi Doodle Shop.

This card was created using a Cardabilities Sketch and a stamp from Bugaboo Stamps.Below is the inside of the card.

This card was made using this week's freebie from Bugaboo Stamps. and a sketch from CPS -Card Sketches.

This one was made using Surfing Ian from the Greeting Farm, a freebie sentiment from Create with TLC, and  a sketch from Clean & Simple Stamping.

And finally, this one was created using a sketch from Diva Coffee Break Designs and a digi freebie from The Digi Shack. This card has a digi freebie on the inside from Create with TLC that says "You're How Old?!"
