We Bought a House!

We just purchased our first home! It is pre-manufactured home, so right now it looks more like a very large trailer than a house, but with a beautful porch and a garage added, I just know we can make it look like our home. I can't wait! I packed my first boxes in today, but we are still a long way from getting moved in. I want to do some painting first before we haul all of the furniture over there. It sets on 10 acres of land, has 5 bedrooms and 3 baths! Much larger than our 3br, 2ba trailer! I will have my own craft room once again and my baby boy will have his own room. My husband will have a "man cave", at least until we have another child or two....LOL. I'm not giving up my craft room!

These pictures were taken before the previous owners moved out, so ignore the gorgeous furniture that's not mine. LOL.

THE BEST PART: the kitchen! It's probably not very sanitary, but I just drool over it.

The next best thing, the master bath! Has his/hers walk-in closets!! and a beautiful tub!

Well that is it for now, till I get moved in and I'll share more photos. I just wanted to share it with you all and warn you that I may not be posting much within the next week or two, because I'll be moving in!

Also, before I go, I wanted you to know there is a sale going on Sunday at MyGrafico 40% off!!

Dinosaur Crayon Roll

I've been working away at my sewing machine again! It is amazing how much I'm learning on this thing! The more I use it, the more confident I'm becoming! I even added ric rack to this one! I made this one for my son, it has dinosaurs on it! I just love the teeth!

Super Cheap & Easy Teacher Gift!

This was a really fun project! We've had a lot of snow lately and I got really bored. As you know, I haven't been able to do much crafting in my craft room since my baby boy sleeps in there 75% of the day. But I can bring my sewing machine into the dining room! So here is what I made! I love this! You will definately see more of these in the future. What's even better? It only cost $1.00! That would be a dollar tree frame.

A few Homemade Valentine Treats

My oldest son, Travis is 4 years old and already has a girlfriend. It was kind of arranged before birth, LOL. So we had to create a one-of-a-kind Valentine gift for her. I took a little tiny baby food jar and removed the label, cleaned it well and then decorated it a bit and filled it with red m&ms. I attached this super cute tag that I got from Hello, Good Gravy!

A new tradition that I've started with our family is making chocolate dipped pretzel rods for each holiday with color coordinating sprinkles! EVERYBODY loves these! At first I just made them for the kids at church, then I realized how much the adults loved them too, so this time I made enough for everyone! (Sorry about the terrible night time pics!)

Here are some more Hello, Good Gravy tags! Love em!

You Make My Heart Soar....

I've been trying to decide what to do for my husband's Valentine's card for a while now, I finally just decided on this simple design. At first, the balloon looked a little boring on a plain kraft paper background, so I used my white marker to create clouds! I love the simple look.
I used the hot air balloon svg from the Up Up and Away Clipart/SVG set from Lindsay. It was very simple to cut and assemble!

Luna Lovegood's Radish Earrings

Well I'm snowed in again today, so I decided to make good use of my time. A friend of mine asked if I could make some "radish earrings" like the ones that Luna Lovegood wears in the Harry Potter movies. So I googled them and found this tutorial! It was surprisingly very easy. Luckily I had all the supplies already on hand! I think they turned out pretty good. What do you think?

A Stylish Card for a Stylish Girl

It's Thusday again! Time for a Lindsay project! Once again, I'm sorry I haven't been posting as often, but to be honest, there's a reason for that. LOL. I am having to share my craft room with my newest little one. His crib is in there and it is hard to find time to get in there while he's not sleeping. It wouldn't be a big deal, but he is such a light sleeper!
However, I did find time to whip up a couple of quick cards this week. This one was a birthday card for my SIL. She is a very fashion-forward girl. So on the inside I put "to a girl with style". I love the earth tones of this one!
You can get this great digi and the rest of the Posh & Trendy stamps here.
I used the card sketch from Clean & Simple.

This card is a re-make. I did one just like it a year or so ago when Lindsay first released this stamp. At that time, I didn't have copics. I decided to re-create it with brighter and bolder colors and I love the result! This card is an inspirational/graduation card. You can get the stamp here for just $1.00!!

One more thing before you go, Lindsay's Stamp Stuff store has everything 30% off Thursday-Sunday!

Time for you to hop over to Lindsay's blog to check out the freebie and the DT gal's work!
