A Couple of Hooded Bath Towels

Just thought I'd pop in for a moment to show you two more hooded bath towels that my mom and I made. I think this strawberry one is my favorite out of all the ones we've done.

On another note, I am scheduled to be induced Thursday night, so if you don't hear from me for a while...I'm probably spending time with my newest little bundle of joy! Can't wait to return and show you pictures!

A Cherry Branch Card + Paperdoll Freebie!

It's an exciting day at LSS! First of all, we want to welcome a new DT gal, Laurel Seabrook! We are also having an End of Summer Sale! It lasts til the 28th, everything is 30% off!!

Now for my card. My mom had me make another card for her this week. This one is for a lady that works for her CPA. I used the Birds & Branches Set. I colored the cherry blossom branch with my copics. I love the results!

I used this sketch from Clean & Simple. This card qualifies for Easy Craft Projects "girly" challenge.

Now for your freebie! This week I decided to create a Fireman Paper Doll. I used the paperdoll freebie at  Quilling Patch as a template. If you've never checked out their collection of free paperdoll downloads, well you should!

And as always, stop by Lindsay's blog to grab a freebie and check out the work by the DT!

A Halloween Card...

Here's a cute little halloween card I put together. Unfortunately the picture isn't the best. I didn't take it in daylight, so it has an odd glow because of the unnatural lighting. Anyways, I thought it was just a really cute image from Mo Manning. I love how the little dog is dressed up like a cat.

This card qualifies for the "get dotty challenge at Aly's Sunday Challenge and the "anything goes" challenge at Craft your Passion.

A few crafty projects I've been working on....

Hello everyone! It's a rainy gloomy saturday morning here. I just thought I'd pop in for a moment to show you some of my latest projects.

I am currently working on a total of 5 hooded bath towels and here is the first one. I cut the little flowers out of some fabric and then adhered them to Steam-a-Seam. I cut the little leaves with my cricut and put it on Steam a Seam also. Then I found this cute ribbon for the stems and put it on Steam a Seam (Love that stuff!). After it was all ironed on, my mom carefully stitched around each flower to make sure they wouldn't go anywhere.

I've also been making some more glass pendants to sell in my craftbooth. Here are some examples of the ones I've done.

I also made this jewelry set. It was much easier than it looks! I love this one. I think it is quite possibly my favorite so far!

Football is Life SVG

Fall is coming up and you know what that means!! Football season!
I just loved those days of sitting on the cool bleachers wrapped in a blanket with a cup of hot chocolate while cheering for my brother's high school team. I really miss those days...

A Birthday Card w/a Bra + Freebie

Before I get started telling you about my card, I wanted to let you know about a one day only sale going on at Lindsay's Stamp Stuff! She's putting everything in the store 40% off until midnight tonight! So go check it out!

This week I made a card for my Aunt's birthday from my mother. My mom was going to purchase a card from the dollar store, but I told her to let me handle it! I used this cute little bra from Lindsay's On the Line Set. On the inside I put "Sisters are like bras... The provide lasting support, are close to your heart and add a little spice to your life."
I found these cute little clips at HL.

I used this week's sketch from Mojo Monday.

Ok, now for your Thursday Freebie! Don't forget to stop by Lindsay's blog to grab a freebie and check out the DT's work!
And don't forget about that 40% off sale! Click here to visit the LSS store!

Snow Layout

I got around to doing another page today! I started out my day putting my 3yr old on the bus to preschool (it was his first day back) and then I went for a 2 mile walk with my mom. I'm 36.5 weeks pregnant and I am hoping to get things to progress along. The doc promises me he'll induce me if I haven't started labor yet on Sept 3rd. That is one week before my due date, but my first child was almost 9lbs a week early, so we're hoping this one won't be as big. I have an ultrasound this friday to see how big he is and to make sure he's head down!

Anyways, back to the point of this post, here's my LO. I made the title using my cricut. I cut it 4 times and glued them one on top of the other to create "faux chipboard". Then I added crystal effects to make it glossy! The snowflake was drawn using my Cri-Kit gel pens and then cut.

I used sketch 213 from Pamela's World of Scrap. Love her sketches!

Halloween Scrapbook LO

Here is a scrapbook page of my little cutie from last Halloween. He was a fireman of course. Not sure yet what he'll be this year though. We went to the local fire station and made a few pictures of him.

I used this sketch from Creative Genealogy Scrapbooking.

A Creepy Hallowen Card + Freebie!

Only 80 days left til Halloween! Haha. I love Halloween. I think it is quite possibly the most fun holiday of them all. I couldn't wait for Halloween to come back around this year because I was dying to get back to making Halloween cards! I absolutely love the Creepy Crow Set from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff.

The drippy goo border is a former svg freebie, you can find it here.

I used this week's sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches. This card qualifies for Our Daily Bread Designs: "3 of Something" and OWH: "Fall Cards".

I was especially excited since I got my copic markers! I could have done so many different things with this stamp, like a orange sunset or a cloudy sky, but instead I decided to go for the creepy night sky look. I googled a pic of a spooky graveyard and used that as my inspiration.

Now for your freebie! Another chic lookin' lady! If you missed the others, look through my former posts.
And don't forget to stop by Lindsay's blog to grab a freebie and check out the DT gal's work!

Chic Silhouette Birthday Card

Ok one more for the day, then I'm headed to the couch to prop my feet up. I think they are starting to swell while sitting in my craft chair. I made this card using a sketch from 2S4U and the chic silhouette that I posted earlier today.

This card qualifies for the "cute & girly" challenge at Creative Card Crew and the "anything goes" challenge at Dutch-Dare Cards

Clean & Simple Get Well Card

I'm tellin' ya! These sketches at Clean & Simple Stamping are a breeze! I just whipped out another one! I never use stickers on my cards, but in this case it worked out perfectly!

Clean & Simple Strawberry Birthday Card

I just love the sketches at Clean & Simple Stamping! They make the cutest and quickest cards! I had this one made in just minutes! The sentiment is computer generated using a font called Synchronous. The strawberry is an svg file that I created, you can find the link below.

You can find the strawberry svg file in this former post.

Chic Silhouette SVG Freebie

I just love these chic gals. Here is another one for you. Enjoy!

My Son at Age 3 (2pg LO)

I finally finished scrappin' the pictures of my son when he turned 3. He'll be 4 this October. Hard to believe. He's such a ham for the camera.

I used this sketch from Pamela's World of Scrap.
And since the challenge at Scrap & Stamp is to create a 2pg LO, here is the second page! The stamp is a bracket digi stamp that I created on my own it is on the first page.

TNA Wrestling LO

My husband will be glad that I finally scrapped this photo. (That is him on the far right side of the pic). He went to the TNA Wrestling show they had in town last fall with a bunch of his friends (it's just not my thing).

I used this sketch from Sketch Inspiration.

Baby Footprints SVG & Digi Stamp

In celebration of the countdown til my baby boy's arrival, I created this footprints svg and digi. I only have 28 days left until he's supposed to be here!

Florida Layout

I managed to get a scrapbook page done today. I saw this sketch from Creative Genealogy Scrapbooking and just had to use it! I love all of Rowena's sketches, but I usually don't have the time to participate every week. I decided to make time today. This layout was actually very easy. The only part that took very long was drawing all the tiny stitches around the photos, but it was worth it:!

A Layout + Bear Freebie

Welcome to Thursday's LSS project! This week I felt the need to get some scrappin' done. So I chose a couple of photos of my son and his PaPaw (my dad). They are inseparable. I just had to dedicate a page to them. And what better way to do it than to use Lindsay's Stick People Set? I mixed and matched the heads and bodies to create two cute little guys who look a lot like my son and my dad.

I paper pieced the clothing on by printing the image more than once onto different patterened papers and cutting out the clothes. This makes the LO qualify for the challenge at Scrap & Stamp which required a stamp and paper piecing. The LO also qualifies for the challenge at Practical Scrappers which required that you have either the word "One" or the number one on the LO.  And finally, I used the sketch this week at Sketch Inspiration.

Now for your freebie! A cute little bear. Below you can download the svg file and save the digi stamp version as well.
