Skinny Note Pads & Christmas Planners! Free digis!

Sorry I haven't been posting frequently lately. I have been so busy crafting that I haven't had time to blog about it! haha. So here are some things I've been up to lately....

These fun little note pads were made using a wonderful tutorial at Kerry's Paper Crafts (Love her blog!) I created the digi stamps to go on the front using my Microsoft Publisher program. You can download them at the end of this post.

Here are a couple more! I just love these papers!!

Click on them to open the larger file and then right-click to save.

And here they are without the circles...

I also had time to make these cute little Christmas Planners! Way easier than they look by the way...as long as you follow this great little tutorial!

Warm Winter Wishes + Border Freebie!

Hello and Happy Thursday! This week I wasn't in the mood to color, so what better time than to use some clipart?! I usually don't work with clipart, but after making this card, I definately will more often! I love how easy it was. And first of all, I must apologize for the sadness of how the photo turned out. My mother borrowed my camera, so I was forced to use an older one (that I despise) and it didn't turn out so well. So when I tried to make another one, the camera batteries were dead. argh!

Anyways, back to the card. I used a sketch from InStyle Stamps blog. I printed the clipart on textured white cardstock. I printed the gifts and the tree star two times, because I wanted to layer them with pop dots (hard to see in photo). The paper is from DCWV. It isn't supposed to be christmas paper, but it reminded me of snow, so I thought it looked nice. Then I just added some sparkle!

You can find this set here.

This card qualifies for the following challenges, 2Sisters (Anything goes), ABC (Glitter), Bee-Crafty (Xmas), Craft Your Passion (Glitter), Crafty Pad (Xmas), Delightful Sketches (It's beginning to look a lot like xmas), Gingerloft (Winter), Snap Creations (Christmas), Lothian Crafts (Christmas), Meljen's Designs (Anything goes), Papertake Weekly (Sparkly & Bright), Quixotic (Christmas is Coming), Sew Many (Anything goes), Fourth Friday (Christmas), Wild Orchid (Pastels)

Don't forget about the sale at MyGrafico, 25% off this weekend. So snag those last minute Halloween sets!

Don't forget to stop by Lindsay's blog for a freebie!

Now for your weekly freebie! A cracked edge border! I did it in a 12x12 and A2 size format.

Christmas Hostess Gift + Halloween Freebie

I'm finally getting into the christmas spirit. This is my first christmas project this year so far. I absolutely loved making this simple hostess gift. It was cheap, fast and fun! haha. I got the idea from Kerry's Paper Crafts. If you've never checked out her blog before, you should! She has some great ideas!
The container is a from some fresh strawberries from my local produce store. I simply washed it out. The confetti and candles were from Dollar Tree. The Christmas tag on top is from Lindsay's Nature's Christmas set. The December 25 on top of the ribbon flower is from Lindsay's Christmas Cupcake Wrapper Set.
I used red stickles for holly berries and pearl paint on santa's beard. It looks so much better in person!
Forgive me for the poor lighting on the photos. I took these after the sun went down and I am used to working with natural light. I need to get some kind of light box set up.
This project qualifies for the following challenges: ABC Christmas (Under the Tree), ABC Challenge (X-Mas), Craftylicious (anything goes), The Crafty Pad (Something for a friend), Create 4 Fun (Use a digi), Flourishes (Gift), Flourishes (Inky edges), Inky Impressions (Anything Goes), Make It Crafty (Distressing), One Stop Craft (Alter It)

I also wanted to remind you of a great sale going on til Saturday at Lindsay's store!

Now for your freebies! Don't forget to stop by Lindsay's blog to snag a freebie!

I've also got a free digi for you!

Ho Ho Ho! Christmas LO in July!

I got another page done today! I was inspired yet again by one of Rowena's fab sketches! The bubble border was a freebie from Images by Heather M. I was able to use up some patterened paper scraps on this page, so that always makes me happy.  The title is made of some stickers that I got on clearance a while back. I need to use up my stash of stickers. I'm not so much into them anymore. I prefer the look of die cuts better.

So if you haven't participated in any of Rowena's challenges yet, hop on over now, the next one started today! Go to Creative Genealogy Scrapbooking!

BTW, if any of you are having troubles downloading any of my files, leave me a comment with which file you're wanting and your email address so I can email it directly to you. Sometimes I get comments from people and I have no way of replying to them. Thank you!

The Pink Elephant -- Fav. Christmas color combo (red & green of course)

Tis the Season! - Lindsay's Stamp Stuff

I'm in the Christmas spirit! I've got my tree up and my house decorated and it's high time I made some Christmas cards! Here is the first one! I am so excited about Lindsay's new Christmas sets! They are so versatile!

The base for this card and the Happy Holidays Punch out comes from the Winter Printables set, which includes several different printables, including some cupcake wrappers for just $4.00. The wreath comes from the Christmas Potpourri set, also $4.00.

To make this card, I simply printed the card base on white cardstock, then cut to the size card I wanted, then folded. I painstakingly cut out this adorable wreath and then used pop dots to add some dimension. The snowflake charms are 8 pieces/$1.76 at wal-mart. They look metal, but are really plastic.

I am using this card to participate in the following challenges:
Charisma Cards -- Anything Christmas
Crazy 4 Challenges- Using a Punch
Creatalicious- Glitter & Snowflakes
Dare U 2 Digistamp- Glitter
Digital Tuesday- Sparkles & Christmas
Pollycraft- Anything Christmas
Pink Elephant- Using favorite coloring method (mine is my Bic Mark Its)
Papertake Weekly- Sketch

Don't forget to visit Lindsay's blog to get your weekly freebie and to check out the work the other DT's have put together!

Now for your Thursday Freebie (sorry I missed last week, I'm making up for it now)

These are for all my fellow twilight fans! Of course, I'm TEAM EDWARD, but I know there are many Jacob fans out there as well. For example, I designed these for my cousin Shayla who I'm making a shirt for as a Christmas gift. I'm letting her aunt choose the design. I'll show pics of the final result later.

Candy Cane Treat Holders & Hot Cocoa Slider Cards

My mojo is flowin' this week! I am having so much fun creating things for my craft booth. I usually don't create these kinds of things because I didn't know what to do with them after I make them. So I'm finally creating everything that I've been admiring on other people's blogs for so long. Here are some candy cane treat holders that I created tonight. I made 12 of them. I never realized how cheap candy canes are! I got a pack of 12 for 88 cents at wal-mart. You can't beat that! I love the cherry flavored ones the best. I got the inspiration for these from Dawn's Stamping Thoughts. She has a tutorial on her blog here. She acutally did them for Easter and put twizzlers in them.
The bear holding the candy cane is a digital stamp from Dustin Pike. The Minnie Mouse and Puppy were images I pulled from Google. I've got them priced at just $1.00 each!

Of course I created some more bookmarks to go in my Twilight section. I am totally a Team Edward fan all the way, but I went ahead and created a few "Werewolf" ones as well, because I know you Jacob fans are out there. haha. The wolf is a digi stamp from Artful Inkables. They will be $1.50 each.
These are some Hot Cocoa slider cards that I made for the craft booth also. The image is another digital stamp from Dustin Pike. I love how the snowman is floating in the cocoa. Kinda ironic. haha. These were super easy to make. I got the idea from a tutorial of The Pink Stamper. I've been using a lot of white cardstock to make these because I just have sooooo much of it. You know those sheets you pull out of your scrapbook albums when you buy them. I keep all of those and I'm finally using them!
