So here is my card! I had a hard time deciding what to do. I wanted to somehow combine the wolf with the tulip from the book cover. So this was what I came up with! I used the stamps from the "Into the Moonlight" set. You're probably wondering how I got the tulip so small. Well all you have to do is stamp your image on white paper. Then scan it into your computer. I used a free program called Paint.net to erase all of the image that I did not want (the chess piece and apple). Then I used the "magic wand" tool to select the flower and I saved it in a new document as a png file. Then I was free to resize it as I please! So I guess you could say I created my own "digi stamp" using a rubber stamp! I printed it out very small and then used colored pencils to color both the wolf and flower.
The gems were clear acrylic gems that I colored a coppery color using my Bic Mark Its! The background paper is a digi freebie from Lindsay- The Frugal Crafter. I just altered the color of the paper to a more natural color. I used my Tim Holtz "brushed corduroy" distressing inks to distress the entire card, even the paper.
I used this week's sketch TTSC15 and I also am participating in this week's Monocromatic challenge by using all brown tones. (with the exception of the flower, hehe)
