5 Quick & Cute Cards

I've finally got my card crafting mojo back! Yay! I love doing cards. They are quick and can satisfy your crafty cravings. And with 2 little boys running around, I need something that I can do quickly, because sure enough...there WILL be an interruption.

Ok, on to card #1, I made this one using a free file from SVGcuts blog, which you can snag here. I love all the juicy layers to this svg. It is 4 layers deep! Stunning in person and yet so simple!

This card, I can't take the credit for, I found it in a stash of old scrapbooking goodies that belonged to my aunt, someone did an excellent job on it, so I tore out the inside and recycled it (i do this a lot). I really hope that the people who recieve my cards do this as well, that way the love that went into it can be appreciated by more than one person. The only thing I added to this card are the jewels in the center of the flowers.

It looks to me like it was created using simple scallops that were cut to look like flower petals (brilliant!).

I forget where this adorable little girl is from, but I just love her! I added some stickles to her hairbow.

It has 3 layers. I added a little flower at the bottom, with a button and then a rhinestone on top.

Simple, yet elegant.

A Wedding Card

A friend of mine is getting married in a few days and I made this card for her. I am not totally pleased with the way it turned out, but some cards are just that way. I used the svg files from SVGCuts called Kate's Silhouettes.

A Classy Wedding Card

Hello folks! Sorry it's been so long since I posted anything. I finally got busy today. I made 5 wedding cards just like the one below. I'm working out a deal with a local gift shop owner who is going to sell them for me. She'll be buying them from me wholesale. Here is what I came up with for weddings.

A Wedding Card & A Smile Card

This first card I made using Wanda's free Scroll card SVG. I cut it out and then decided that I wanted to use just the scroll work, so I cut off the rest of it and glued it to the front of a white card. It cut out just beautifully!

Then I wasn't sure what to put in the center, but I found this tag that said "From This day Forward". It was actually a pretty design on a wedding gift bag that I pulled off to keep. I thought I could use it on something eventually and I'm so glad I saved it! It fits perfectly!
Here is another card that I threw together this afternoon. I know it looks like I did more work than throwing it together, but really I already had the blue paper embroidered with flowers. Remember my post a few months back? I created this design to cut tiny holes on my cricut and then just ran thread through the holes. This design is available in my store for just $3.00!

Anyways, so I found this laying somewhere on my craft desk and decided to finally whip a card out of it!

A Bella Wedding Card

A friend of my husband got married this past month. We were unable to make it to the wedding, but I decided to send a belated wedding gift. So here is the card that I created to go along with the gift. I used Bella and her Fella's wedding stamp. I only used the top portion of the stamp because I wanted it to be a circle so that it would qualify for the challenge at Lala Land Crafts Blog which was to use geometric shapes. I also added some bling to qualify for the challenge at Crazy 4 Challenges that required the project to have sparkle! Then finally I used the sketch at A Spoon Full of Sugar

A Wedding Card Tutorial

Hello all! I was a busy girl yesterday. I made 6 cards! I did it in just a couple of hours too. This first one took the longest though. I'll tell you what made it go quickly. I had all of my digi stamps printed, colored and cut out. One night I was bored, but not feeling crafty, so I cut out cards and patterned papers that I wanted to use for each stamp, but I just put them aside and never finished them. So yesterday, the crafty bug hit. I got to work on those cards! I'm not going to share them all today, but I'll post one each day for the next 5 days. So keep a look out!

This card was created using several SVG files from SCUT Files.com. Most of them were freebies. I saw that yesterday they had a tutorial for this card posted and I decided to give it a try. I don't like mine as well as Mary's, but I'm still proud of it. It is the first time I've ever done 3D flowers like these though. Here is a link to the tutorial.
