Baby Shower Thank You Cards

Hello again! I don't have much time, so I'll make this quick. Brett is starting to wake up and he's gonna be hungry again. haha. I've been working on making and addressing thank you cards. I made 20 of these really quickly. They were very easy. The paper is "dreamy" from My Mind's Eye. It reminds me of a baby crib or mobile. The footprints were cut using scal and my cricut. You can find the free file here.

Stawberry Card + Freebie

I just love this card! I cased one that I saw on another blog last night. I saw it at Scrappin' Navy Wife's blog. She owns just about every Cricut Cart known to man and man is she talented! I got so many great ideas from her! So here is the card that I made. I don't usually use faux stitching or craft cardstock that often, but I think I might start after seeing some of her creations. I just adore the overall look it gives a card! Simple and cute!
I'll be giving one of these cards to a sweet lady at church who made me a blanket for my soon to be born baby boy in September. The other will probably go on Etsy or in my craft booth.

Skunk SVG Freebie

This little guy is too cute. For some reason his nose looks white, but it is really pink. I used googly eyes over the original eyes that the cricut cut.

Thank You Teacher Card

This monday is my son's last day at pre-school, as he will begin his summer break. So I made this cute little card to match the tin that I made a few weeks ago. I love the primary colors. I don't often work with these colors all together. I love the brightness and simplicity of it. The stamp is from the Lindsay's Stamp Stuff School Rules set.
I used the sketch at A Crafty Little Place this week.

Don't forget to stop by Lindsay's blog to grab a freebie and to check out the rest of the fab DT's work!

A Quick Thank You Card

Nope still not pregnant yet. haha. I just decided to make these quick and easy baby shower thank you cards to put in my booth for sale. I got these cute simple (and cheap) note cards from Big Lots (12 for $1.50) and I decided to spruce them up. I used Lindsay's baby rattle digi from the Babies & Bows Collection. However I didn't feel like coloring 12 of these tiny rattles (not to mention I'm not so great at staying in the lines when they are that small). So I imported my digi into a free program called Paint.net and colored it digitally. I was able to pick colors that matched the note cards perfectly. Then all I had to do was print and cut them into tiny circles. I also printed the words Thank You on a larger circle layered them w/pop dots.

That's right folks! Buy 2 stamp sets, get one free! If you're shoping in her Shophandmade Store, just purchase the 2 sets you want and when Lindsay emails your order to you, she'll ask you which set you'd like for free! So easy! Not to mention, for every $5 you spend, you get a free stamp! Merry Christmas to you!
And don't forget to stop by Lindsay's blog for your weekly freebie!
Now it's time for your Thursday freebie! Here is a useful little svg for your thank you cards. I've cut it as small as 1.5" and it cuts wonderfully!

A BIG thank you to everyone!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to thank those of you who left such sweet comments on my last post about the fall borders. I left a little comment/complaint about how I had tons of downloads, but not many comments. I know many of you are busy and barely have time to download, let alone comment on things. I am bad about this as well. I've been trying harder lately to take the time to comment on anything I see or like or download, b/c I know how it brightens my day to see a comment in my email box. So I am trying one by one to share the love as well. I just wanted to tell everyone that I really appreciate all of the comments! It made my day! I had no idea there were even that many of you dropping by my blog to download until I discovered how many downloads some of my things were getting. I usually just look too see if I have any new followers and I only have 47, so I just assumed that was how many people were keeping up with me. It warms my heart to know that there are that many more that come by even if they don't always say anything. So thank you!
