Ok, now for my project! This week I decided to make some post it note pads using Lindsay's doodle flower set! It has some adorable stamps in it that I have used over and over again! I think it is by far, my favorite LSS set! Since I won't be posting this Thursday for LSS, here is your Thursday Freebie, a little early. It is the template to cut these cut little holders using your cricut. Post It Note Pads SCUT. If you don't have scal, go to Dawn's Stamping Thoughts to see a video for how to make them by hand. It's so easy!

I found this handy little Fossil watch tin in my bedroom (I think it's my husband's. Shhh! Maybe he won't miss it. I decided to use it in the LSS Crop Room Challenge #6 that says "Recycle a container (altered art). So I created this cute little thank you tin for my son's preschool teachers. I plan to give it to them the last day of pre-school filled with candy. The stamps that I used are from Lindsay's School Rules set. It's just $5.00 for several great school related stamps (see photo below for full set). To cover thee tin I just used modge podge and a paint brush. I used photoshop to add the #1 Teacher and the teacher's names on the ribbon. Then I printed them and colored them with my Bic Mark Its. I used pop dots to give it some dimension. A Doodleflower Post It Holder

Well I just wasn't in the card making mood today, so I decided to make a post-it note holder! I made this one larger than the usual size. It is 5x7. I used two of Lindsay's doodleflower digital stamps. I think out of all the digi stamps that Lindsay has made, these are my favorite! They are so versatile.

Digi Stamps & Bottlecap Jewelry!

Before I get to my project, I just wanted to announce that today is my 5th anniversary with my husband!

This week I've been making more things for my craft booth and it suddenly occured to me that digi stamps would look great on bottlecaps! So I did these two as an experiment! They turned out great!

I first printed my digis at about 1" and then colored them with my Bic Mark Its. Then I put one Glaze Drop on top of each one to give them a bubbled effect. Then I cut around the glaze drop to remove the excess paper. Then I used some Diamond Glaze to adhere the bubbled image to the bottlecap. Very easy to do! I purchased both my glaze drops and bottle caps here. Their store is closed for Thanksgiving.

Altered Tin Can Project w/Lindsay's Stamp Stuff

This week I was feeling extra crafty! I decided to create a pencil holder using a soup can. This soup can is taller than most, so it was perfect for pencils. I just covered it with patterned paper using Fabri-tac glue. It is intended for fabric, but works great on this type of thing. I really like it because it is flexible for a minute or so after you put the paper on it. That way I can slide things around to get them just like I want, but it has a very firm hold once it dries.

Then I used the same glue to attach this wide lace around the center. I colored one of Lindsay's newest Doodle Flower stamps, the Fabric Flower. It is only $1.00 in her store. But you can buy the whole set which includes sentiments for $5.00.

Now for your Thursday freebie! I created this title for my husband's Marine Corps scrapbook a few days ago. If you know someone who is in the marines, this would be great to use. The word "Ball" is separate from the Marine Corps title. So if you don't want to include that word, you can remove it.
